This beautiful car had a noise that drove the owner crazy. They bought new tires and had them rebalanced and rotated but the hum remained unchanged. After a complete inspection by our certified master technician we determined the rear differential had an internal bearing failure. We replaced it with a Mercedes remanufactured unit and life is quite again for this 2006 engineering masterpiece. This problem is preventable with proper inspections and fluid replacement, don’t be fooled into believing the manufacturers recommendations are the best options for your situation. We always use the best synthetic gear lube available for your application and in some cases change it more often than the manufacturer recommends. that’s why they call it “preventative” maintenance.
